LG Optimus 3D is an Android smartphone with great multimedia capability. It boasts a 4.3” display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and LG 3D UI. It allows you to watch 3D pictures and videos without using 3D glasses. However, there are some obstacles. You can only enjoy the 3D graphics in certain games, apps, or videos that support the feature. To watch the 3D effect, you must also hold the phone in certain position. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass in order to minimize the risk of a serious damage. There are other supporting features like Gyroscope, Accelerometer and Proximity sensor.
The Optimus 3D comes with Android v2.2 (Froyo) operating system, but it can be upgraded to v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The phone works responsively with the support of a dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. It delivers decent speed so you can execute various tasks smoothly. To store your files, LG Optimus 3D provides 8 GB of internal storage. If you need more space, you can also add external memory card by up to 32 GB. The phone is equipped with dual 5 MP camera on the rear panel to shoot 3D pictures or videos. It features autofocus, LED flash, stereoscopic photos & videos, geo-tagging, and video recording capability (1080p@30fps (2D), 720p@30fps (3D)) with video stabilization. A secondary front-facing camera is also included.
