LG K4 was released in early 2016. This Android v5.1.1 (Lollipop) smartphone packs Mediatek MT6735M chipset with quad -core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor. It also incorporates Mali-T720MP2 GPU and 1 GB of RAM to support the performance. The specifications show what it is capable of. Simple tasks such as editing documents/photos, social networking or browsing the web shouldn’t be a problem. You even get the advantage since it already supports 4G LTE. It will make online activities more enjoyable. For the storage, it offers 8 GB built-in memory. There is memory card slot if you want to expand the storage capacity. It accommodates microSD card up to 32 GB.
The LG K4 is a stylish smartphone with ergonomic design. It has slim body and slightly curved top and bottom. The size is relatively small compared to most smartphones in recent days. It will be comfortable to use in one hand and of course easier to carry. The 4.5″ IPS LCD screen has approximately 63.4% screen-to-body ratio. With a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and 218 ppi pixel density, you can’t expect much in terms of visual quality. However, it doesn’t mean bad at all. The screen has the capacity to support simple tasks. It offers wider viewing angles and good visibility. The multitouch touchscreen is responsive and already equipped with Accelerometer and Proximity sensor.
The camera department seems pretty reliable for simple use. On the back of the phone you can find the primary 5 MP camera. It features f/2.8, autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and video recording capability (720p@30fps). A secondary 2 MP camera is embedded above the display. It’s not the best front-facing camera, but it’s good enough to support video calls or taking selfies.
