Nokia X comes with a pretty good design that we usually see in Lumia series. It sports a 4.0″ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (233 ppi pixel density). It doesn’t offer superb visual quality, but it’s not bad for a budget phone. It has good visibility and viewing angles. You can still watch videos and browse images in the internet comfortably. The responsive touchscreen enables smooth navigation through menus. It also supports multitouch (up to 2 fingers). Other features like Nokia X platform 1.0 UI (upgradable to 1.1.2.2), Accelerometer, and Proximity sensor are included.
Nokia X is an Android smartphone. It runs on Android v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system. A dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor is planted inside the phone along with by Adreno 203 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. It works fine to support various apps. It’s not very fast, but good enough to handle simple tasks. The phone also offers dual SIM card capability, so you can communicate efficiently. With 4 GB built-in memory, you’ll have very limited space to store your files. Thankfully, the Nokia X includes memory card slot that can be used to expand the storage capacity. A 3.15 MP camera is embedded on the back of the phone. It’s a modest camera with some supporting features like 1/5” sensor size, panorama, face detection, and video recording capability (480p@30fps). This is the only camera available since Nokia X doesn’t include front-facing camera.
