LG X Style is a pretty attractive smartphone with respectable specifications and interesting features to offer. It packs Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 chipset with quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. It’s backed by Adreno 304 GPU and 1.5 GB of RAM. As you can see from the specs, LG X Style is more of a mid-range smartphone. It doesn’t deliver monstrous processing speed but is quite reliable for handling simple tasks. You don’t have to worry about laggish performance that can waste your time instead of being productive. Android v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system runs well in this device along with other apps. The 4G LTE connectivity will give you more comfort when working online or simply browsing the web. Dual SIM feature is also an advantage. You can use two providers simultaneously and take advantage of any data plans. Storage department is quite satisfying. The LG X Style offers 16 GB built-in memory along with memory card slot for storage expansion. It accommodates microSD card up to 256 GB.
The phone is as stylish as its name. LG X Style comes with slim design and a large display that dominates the front panel (66.7% screen-to-body ratio). It also looks more ergonomic with the curved edges. You can still hold it comfortably despite the large size. The 5.0″ IPS LCD display has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and 294 ppi pixel density. The resolution is pretty high for its size. Considering this is a mid-range smartphone, those specs are already satisfactory. It allows you to watch HD videos or other high quality contents on large display and with wider viewing angles. The multitouch touchscreen has good sensitivity. It will help you navigate through menus easily. The large virtual keyboard is also an advantage for large fingers. They can type more comfortably.
The LG X Style has two decent cameras for everyday use. On the back of its body, there is a primary 8 MP camera with many supporting features like autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and video recording capability up to 1080p@30fps. It’s not a 13 MP rear camera as you might expect but the quality shouldn’t be a problem. For a mid-range smartphone, an 8 MP camera is not bad at all. It also has a secondary 5 MP camera above the display. This camera seems good enough to please selfie fans. It is capable of producing self-portraits with good level of details and sharpness. It’s also great for video calling.
