Nexus 10 is a tablet from Google, in collaboration with Samsung. It boasts a dazzling 10.1” Super PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen with a high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels (299 ppi pixel density). It is claimed to be one of the tablets with the highest resolution display. HD videos look more vivid and photos are sharp with incredible detail. The touchscreen is impressive and it supports multitouch. The large size provides enough space, so you can type comfortably on its onscreen keyboard. As a protection from serious damages, the screen is polished with Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
Nexus 10 is installed with Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system, but it is upgradable to v4.4.2 (KitKat). It is the first tablet to use A15 processor (Dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A15 processor). The processor is backed by Mali-T604 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. They run the tablet pretty well. Everything works responsively. Apps can load quickly and you can do various tasks without any serious lag. With 16/32 GB of internal storage, you’ll have a lot of space to store your files. Unfortunately, that’s all you can get since there is no memory card slot in this device. Connectivity options are various, including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct; DLNA; Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP; NFC (dual side); and microUSB v2.0.
A modest 5 MP rear camera does a good job in taking pictures and videos although you won’t find them as sharp as in higher resolution camera. the camera features autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, and face detection. On the front panel, you can find a 1.9 MP camera that supports video calling.
