BlackBerry Passport has a square shape, like a passport book, with angled corners. Its 4.5” square touchscreen is great for reading or editing documents, although it feels awkward to hold and looks odd. With a high resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixels (453 ppi pixel density), the Passport also offers a great viewing experience. The screen delivers great details and color accuracy. You’ll be able to watch videos and photos at their best quality. The touchscreen itself is very sensitive and supports multitouch (up to 10 fingers). Blackberry Passport seems to be a perfect match for physical keyboard fans. It has three-row physical keyboard below the display which is also sensitive to touch input. BlackBerry Passport packs powerful specs which make it a perfect productivity machine. It uses Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core 2.26 GHz Krait 400 processor, Adreno 330 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. You can imagine how monstrous it could be in terms of processing speed. It’s even better with the 4G LTE support and long battery life (using non-removable Li-Ion 3450 mAh battery). For the operating system, it uses BlackBerry 10.3.

Blackberry Passport factory reset
Restore your device to its factory default settings using BlackBerry Link.
If you restore your BlackBerry 10 device to its default settings, BlackBerry Link deletes all of the data and third-party applications from your device. Any IT policies that are applied to your device are also deleted. After you restore your device to its default settings, you can run the setup application on your device to set up the device again.
Before you begin, you should back up your data so that you have a copy of the data on your computer.
- On your computer, open BlackBerry Link.
- Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
- At the side of the BlackBerry Link window, click your device.
- Do one of the following:
- On a Windows computer, click Back Up & Restore. Click Factory Reset.
- On a Mac computer, click BlackBerry Link > Preferences. Click Reload > Reload.
* CAUTION: You can’t stop the process of restoring your device to its default settings after it starts. If you reset your device, the process continues after the device restarts.
