Vodafone Smart III is an affordable phone with a modest 4.0″ display. It has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (233 ppi pixel density), which is pretty standard for its class. It’s not a superb display, but you can still enjoy fairly good visuals. However, visibility could be tight in certain lighting conditions. The touchscreen is responsive and easy to use. It’s equipped with multitouch, accelerometer and proximity sensor. The Smart III also has pretty ergonomic design that allows you to hold it comfortably. The curved corners can make it slip easier into your pocket.
Vodafone Smart III is installed with Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system. A 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor works along with PowerVR SGX531 GPU and 512 MB of RAM to power the phone. You may notice some minor delays, but the phone has no problem in handling basic tasks. With only 4 GB built-in memory, you’ll have limited space to store your files. Fortunately, the Smart III also includes memory card slot for storage expansion. The camera department is quite modest. You’ll find a 5 MP rear camera which features autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, and video recording capability (720p@30fps). That’s the only camera available in this phone. There’s no front facing camera.
