Apple TV is not a real television. IT doesn’t have the look of an ordinary television we usually see. It is not a box with widescreen that can display motion pictures. Apple TV is actually a digital media player and a microconsole that can stream favorite contents from various sources to capable TV so you can watch them on the TV screen. In a simpler term, Apple TV is a streaming box. You can access contents from iTunes, Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube, HBO GO, SHOWTIME ANYTIME, WatchESPN or other online media services. Just choose what you like the most: blockbuster movies, music, TV shows, live sports, news or others. Many movies are available in stunning 1080p HD.
How to use Apple TV? You only need to connect audio and video cables to Apple TV and your high definition TV through HDMI port. When the device is connected to your wireless or Ethernet network, you are ready to start. The Apple TV offers redesigned 1080p user interface, ability to re-download purchased movies through iCloud, Photo Stream resolution up to 1080p and recommendations for movies. It also has an interesting feature called Airplay. With the Airplay, you’ll be able to wirelessly play videos, music, or show photos from your iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) or Mac on your HDTV.
Apple TV is armed with Single-core A5 chip and some connectivity features like Wi-Fi (802.11a, b, g, or n), 10/100BASE-T Ethernet, HDMI, optical audio output, built-in IR receiver, built-in power supply; and Micro-USB.
