Nokia Lumia 505 sports a 3.7” AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The screen looks fairly bright and clear. You can type or browse the internet with clear visual. The touchscreen is pretty responsive so you can swipe through menus smoothly. Multitouch support makes it more fun to use. Of course you won’t miss basic features like Accelerometer and Proximity sensor. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass to prevent serious damage.
The Lumia 505 is installed with Microsoft Windows Phone 7.8. For the brain, an 800 MHz processor is backed by 256 MB of RAM. The performance is far from impressive, but it might be just fine if you use it for simple tasks only. The phone has very limited storage space. It only offers 4 GB built-in memory without including memory card slot that can be used to expand the storage capacity. It means that you won’t be able to store too many videos, music, or photos in this phone. The camera department is satisfactory. You can find an 8 MP rear camera which features Geo-tagging, and video recording capability. There is no front-facing camera in the Lumia 505.
