It features fast autofocus, a sharp 3-inch LCD display (920k dots) and a manual aperture ring. It has fast lens that lets in a lot of light. It enables faster shutter speeds at lower sensitivities in low light situations. It means that you’ll be able to get good looking pictures in low light conditions. The LX7’s lens has a maximum aperture range of F1.4 – F2.3. The camera also has the capability of recording movies at 1080/60p with stereo sound.

The camera has 70 MB built-in memory.  An extra 4 GB memory card is recommended if you are mostly taking still pictures. But if you use it to take a lot of HD videos, it’s better to use 8 GB or 16 GB memory card. The camera supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards. To get the best camera performance, a high speed (Class 6 or faster) card is strongly recommended.
