Huawei Ascend G600 boasts a spacious 4.5” IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It gives you more space to type comfortably on its onscreen keyboard. The touchscreen itself is responsive and easy to use. The multitouch support will make it easier to operate. The screen has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels which is good enough for its size. You can read the text or watch videos clearly on it. Of course, it also includes basic features like Accelerometer and Proximity sensor.
Looking inside, you’ll find a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor running this phone. It works along with 768 MB of RAM. This device doesn’t work as fast as other high-end smartphones, but it works well in supporting basic functions. Android v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system can run smoothly and apps launch properly. 4 GB of internal storage seems too limited for smartphone. Fortunately, you can add external memory card (up to 32 GB) to accommodate your files. You can have some options for the connectivity, such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot; DLNA; Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP; and microUSB v2.0.
The camera department is not disappointing at all. The phone has an 8 MP camera on the back of its body. It features autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, and video recording capability. On the front panel, there is a secondary camera that can be used for video calling. The Ascend G600 also has other features to offer, such as:
- GPS with A-GPS support
- FM radio
- Internet browser
- Push Mail; Instant Messaging
- Compass; NFC; SNS integration
- Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic
- MP3/WAV/eAAC+ player & MP4/H.263/H.264 player
- Document viewer
- Photo viewer/editor
- Voice memo/dial

Setting Up Your Mobile Phone
The first time you power on your mobile phone, the phone displays a setup wizard to help you set up the phone.
The setup wizard helps you:
• Create or sign in to your account
• Make some initial decisions about how you want to use your mobile phone
Restoring Factory Data
If you reset your phone to its factory settings, all of your personal data stored on the phone, including information about your Google account, any other accounts that you have configured, your system and application settings, and any applications you have installed will be erased. Resetting the phone does not erase any system updates you have downloaded.
1. On the Settings screen, touch Backup & reset > Factory data reset.
2. When prompted, touch Reset phone, and then touch Erase everything. The mobile phone resets the settings to the original factory settings, and then restarts.
