Motorola Droid X sports a 4.3″ display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (228 ppi pixel density). It looks pretty bright and sharp. It also has good color accuracy. When you browse the net, you can read the text and see images clearly. Under the display, you’ll find four shortcut keys (menu, home, back, and search) to help you navigate easily. The Droid X has responsive touchscreen that is easy to use and supports multitouch. Standard feature like Accelerometer and Proximity sensor are included.
Motorola Droid X runs on Android v2.1 (Eclair) operating system. It has pretty good performance with the support of a 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor, PowerVR SGX530 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. Apps can be launched properly and it can handle basic tasks quite well. To accommodate your files, the phone has very good offer. It provides 6.5 GB of internal storage and pre-installed 16 GB microSD card. You’ll have a lot of space to store your music, photos and videos. You can even expand the memory card up to 32 GB.
It’s good to know that the Droid X also has the capability to become a mobile hotspot for up to five devices. An 8 MP camera is embedded on the rear panel of the phone. It has some supporting features like autofocus, dual-LED flash, Geo-tagging, digital zoom, face detection, image stabilization, and HD video recording capability.
